We advise you to telephone as early as possible if you wish to be seen the same day for appointment surgery. We have eight incoming appointment lines. Calls will be answered by a trained patient advisor who will, on behalf of the GPs, take your details and a brief account of your problem in order to provide the most effective and appropriate course of action to you. You can pre-book an appointment up to one week in advance, and we will endeavour to meet your requirements. However, if you need to be seen urgently, you will be given an appointment with an appropriate health care professional on the same day Monday-Friday. Avoid busy times if you can. The period from 08.00 to 08.30 is often very busy. You can now book your appointment on-line or order you repeat prescription by using our new web based system by clicking on the link below. Please note that you must only book an appointment with your own registered Doctor using this system. You will have to register your account by selecting "I want to sign-up", which will give you a secure user name & password. At present, these are being mailed out to patients:.
